For the past seven years, Blue Crab Consulting has helped some of the world’s leading brands introduce AI across Talent Acquisition. We have now supported more than 150 AI-based deployments, and that experience has given us a firsthand view of both the potential of AI in hiring and the responsibilities that come with it.

Organizations are no longer navigating a single set of expectations. They face an evolving patchwork of city, state, national and global requirements, each with its own definitions, audit standards, disclosure obligations and documentation expectations.

We regularly hear clients asking fundamental questions:

What is our company’s responsibility for fair hiring when AI is used anywhere in the hiring process?

Where could bias or adverse impact be entering the process?

Are we evaluating only final hiring outcomes, or also the screening, assessment, interview, offer and other stages that produced them?

Which requirements apply across the jurisdictions where we hire?

How do we maintain consistent, reviewable evidence as our hiring processes, AI capabilities and regulatory obligations change?

A general audit of a vendor’s model or tool can provide useful information. However, it cannot show the outcomes produced when that AI is applied to an organization’s own jobs, candidate populations, configurations, workflows and hiring practices.

For many organizations, a vendor-level audit alone does not provide enough assurance.

Fair-hiring analysis must connect to the enterprise’s authorized data and actual recruiting process. That is how an organization can begin to understand whether outcome differences exist, where they first emerge and which areas require further investigation.

Our focus on helping clients establish a practical and governed path through this landscape led to the creation of BCC TAradar, powered by Vero AI

BCC TAradar brings bias audits, stage-level outcome analysis, multi-jurisdiction regulatory review, ongoing monitoring and supporting evidence together within one platform.

The objective is straightforward: help organizations understand where fair-hiring risks may exist, identify the AI based regulatory requirements that require review and establish a repeatable assurance process that can evolve with the business.

The work extends well beyond implementing another technology. It reflects what we have learned from helping organizations put AI into hiring practices and what we believe employers now need to use it responsibly.

I am excited to share BCC TAradar, powered by Vero AI and the experience behind it. You can read the official Blue Crab Consulting announcement here:

All of this would not be possible without the incredible collaboration of our world class experts at Vero AI including Dr. Eric Sydell, Peter Santis, Dr Mike Reeves, and Dr. Rachel King.
